Κατά τη διάρκεια του χειμώνα η θερμοκρασία στα κωνοφόρα δάση μπορεί να πέσει μέχρι και κάτω από τους -40 C.Το έδαφος παγώνει και καλύπτεται από το χίονι.Με τόσες λίγες ώρες φωτός πώς καταφέρνουν και επιβιώνουν τα φύτα και τα άγρια ζώα;
Καταφύγιο στο δάσος
Το χειμώνα τα καριμπού μετακινούνται σε δασώδεις περιοχές για να βρούν τροφή.Με τις δυνατές τους οπλές σκάβουν το έδαφος ψάχνοντας για λειχήνες.

Indeed, the animal is very difficult winter. Sometimes they even have no place to take shelter from the cold and snow. And it is very difficult to find food, especially animals that eat plants and leaves!
